Rev. Judith Brackett began serving The Oak Lane Presbyterian Church in September 2015. Before entering Princeton Theological Seminary, Judith taught for over 20 years at schools in New York City, Philadelphia, and Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. These years of “non-ordained ministry” provided rich experiences of imagining, organizing, and implementing learning opportunities that engender human flourishing. Relationships with others — inspired and informed by God’s unconditional love for us — are integral to her personal and professional philosophy.
Born and raised in rural Maine, married to her husband of 31 years, and the mother of two sons, Judith loves to show her affection for others by setting the table, preparing a meal, and welcoming guests. Gathering for a meal and conversation expresses her “theology of the table,” an understanding that every table where people gather can be an extension of Christ’s table — a satisfying feast for the soul.
